The New Year's Dinner Table

SWe are two at dinner again. I finished to set and decorate the table in living room a few minutes ago. Now it is time to have dinner and watch the news on tv. After dinner we will go out to join our firends.

I wish you all have a nice night!

And here are the pics of our dinner table how I decorated.

The New Year's Breakfast Table

New year's breakfast is a time to share happy moments with family, friends and acquaintances. We are two... my husband and me... (Next week our daughter will have important exams, she can't come) So the small table in the kitchen can be prepared for two. Both of us like having breakfast there.

This morning I woke up too early, set and decorated the table for new year's breakfast. The theme is red and gold. I prefered them, because they are traditionally associated with the season and they become a happy participant in holiday revels.

Here are some pics...

Now it is time to have breakfast... see you again.

Outdoor Sunday -4

It is Outdoor Sunday again.

This morning we went to Tekirdağ. It is a city about 2 hours away here.
(I love there so much. Before moving Gelibolu, we lived there 4 years. It is full of memories, friends etc. So we go again and again...)

We had a great day by visiting many places. But I want to share only Tekira photos. (Tekira is a big mall with all kind of shops, restaurants, cinemas and a hypermarket) There was decorated for New Year and the ambience was so colorful and beautiful.

I took photos over eighty for Tekira. Oh! Of course I will not share all of them... I will add only ten... :))

I hope colorful memories decorate your Holiday Season!

Merry Christmas Everyone Who Celebrates Christmas!

In Turkiye, we, muslims don't celebrate christmas, but most of us celebrate New Year. We do same things such as; decorating tree, decorating home, setting table, eating chicken or turkey, having party, exchanging gifts, shopping etc. like christians. If someone comes here in December, s/he can get surprised... All of them looks like preparations of christmas, but they are only for New year.

And now, I want to say that

We don't celebrate christmas but

I hope everyone who celebrates christmas has a very merry christmas!

New Year Prep

New year comes nearly... The preparations must start!

Yesterday, while visiting Koru Mount I found a beautiful tree branch and brought it my home. It was wet.... should be dried before use... I cleaned and put it in an urn... Since yesterday it has been drying.

When it dries I will paint it white and decorate with new year's ornaments.

By the way, last night I ventured down to our storage and found our old small tree, ornaments, colorful lights etc. Then I decorated... by thinking in the past new years... :) ... oh! memories were happily... :)
May be I use it again by the window of my kitchen... I still didn't decide.
For now it can wait as ready...When the time comes it will be placed somewhere certainly... :)

Outdoor Sunday -3

I had said on my last post; todays theme is snow. Yes... it is a snowy day today!
Me and my husband went out to feel its beauty.

I firstly want to share some snowy shots from Gallipoli, town I live.
These are from Harbour.

And these shots are from different streets.

The hills were snowy, but not so much. We decided to go to Koru Mount where we could find interesting snow shots how many we want...
How wonderful shots we captured...Now they are...
